Reverse
Osmosis
The
technique of water purification by reverse osmosis uses a semi permeable
membrane rolled in a spiral in order to separate and remove dissolved
solids, organic matter, pyrogenes, colloidal matters, bacteria and
viruses in the water.
The water entry is conveyed under a pressure of 40 to 200PSI against
a side of the membrane where only the water molecules can cross
it (permeate). The impurities are concentrated in the water current
and are continuously returned to the drain in the form of rejected
water (concentrate).
The final result - an abundant provision of purer water - at
a very reasonable price.
